Aloha island weddings questions and photos

Questions from the bride and groom
to .
Aloha island weddings

Smiles from the bride as she says her vows in Hwaii on the beach

What time does your reception start ? , or what time do they allow your guest to arrive ?
It starts at 5pm a little before sunset .
it doesn't matter if Tim and I get there a bit later

what time is your hair and makeup scheduled to come to your hotel ?
They were coming at 10am, but I have emailed them today to ask if we can move it forward half an hour, so that we are ready at 12:30pm rather than 1:00pm.
Are your theme colors still yellow and purple ? Yes, they are :-)

Just three junior bridesmaids - they will be aged 9, 9 and 8 at the time of the wedding.

how many guest are coming to your wedding ? At the moment, we have 22 confirmed guests (including Tim and myself), with the possibility of 3-5 more.
who will be coming with you in your limo ?
To go to the ceremony, it will be my mum and my 3 junior bridesmaids. Coming back from the ceremony, my mum and Tim will swap places and she will go on the bus and Tim will come in the limo. The junior bridesmaids will stay in the limo with us.
do you have a maid of honor / bridesmaids or best men ?

For the extra photo shoot / would you like to do that during sunset on the beach by your reception ? { i could have a photographer come to your reception and bring you across the street to the beach for sunset photos ?? } Umm, I was thinking Tim, myself and the three girls could go to a different location after the ceremony to get some more photos and I am happy to take your advice as to the best location for that. I was hoping that there wouldn't be too many people around wherever we go, is this possible?
Sure we will find you the most secluded beautiful spot to have photos .

Hawaii Butterfly poem

Butterfly Poem

She had kept to herself bond in the prison of her mind most of her life, eventually locking herself away to wait in that cocoon. The pacific island seasons passed, trade winds , and the hot summer months then she knew she was ready when she felt the stir of emotion flutter beneath the cover of protection. She had come to this on her own. It was time. Her love was like the garden she lived in, vast and full of life.

She burst forth from the cocoon and spread her wings moonlight iridescent glow befitting a princess ready to take flight. The morning sun lifted her out into the world the dew on the grass wetted her tiny feet. She closed her eyes laying silent warming the moisture on her wings, welcoming the new light and warmth into her heart.

The butterfly once again looks skyward as it soars over the horizon.

Aloha Island Weddings

Australia bride and groom asking a couple of wedding questions

Good Morning aloha island weddings
I am a bride with a few questions for you . We live in Sydney, Australia. We are planning to travel to Hawaii to get married in July next year, 2014. The date we have picked is special to us and was wondering if you have it available . Would you be available to assist us on this date? We would like a beach sunset wedding, and love many of your sunset photos of happy wedding couples on the beach after there wedding found here .

Hawaii Sunset Photos

Would it be possible for you to recommend the best places for this to happen for photos and privacy etc and where we can have views of the beautiful sunsets on the beach in Hawaii ?   I have been told via correspondence with other companies that there are only a few wedding spot where the sunsets can be seen ,  i love your  images of the decorations and the companies involved with them and yours was one. I was wondering if  the hotel's were allowed to have Aloha island weddings coordinate our ceremony on the grass where the sea meets the sand on the beaches as an alternative. As I am not overly familiar with the Island, knowing the names of places nearby could be helpful for me. It will only be a small gathering with just myself,  the groom , my  daughter, and my son
I am looking at your Lovers in Paradise Package with extras or Beach Chapel Arch Package and was wondering what the duration and timetable of these would be for a sunset wedding. Is it possible to have a pink color theme for both of these. At the moment we are looking at a Turtle Bay Resort beachfront cottage
for the accommodation on the North Shore as this is the only place I can find with villa/cottage like accommodation to fit our needs. If you know of any others I would like to hear about them.
I plan on having the cake etc at the resort in our room/veranda decorated with candles and balloons and would like some photo shots there, also I would like to try to capture the moon in some images so I would like a bit of flexibility with a photographer.
plus would love to have a harp and guitar duo like your video below

Design and color ideas for my Hawaii wedding bouquet

Hi Aloha island weddings,
I wanted to send you some other bouquet pictures that I like because I am rethinking the lilies in my bouquet. I love them but someone gave me a vase full for my birthday last week and they made my eyes itch and they made me sneeze, so I'm thinking I don't want that on my wedding day. I seem to be ok with other flowers. I think it will be fine if lilies are on the ground or chairs or part of the props, but not in my hands up close to my face!

Here are some other things I like. Once again, you have creative license to adapt the design. I am not really particular when it comes to flowers, I pretty much love them all. I like bright colors mixed with pastels and some off white...

Hawaiian wedding with Sian

Hi Aloha island weddings

Hope all is well your end of the world

Just wanted to send you a picture of the bouquet i like to see if this is something you can recreate for me. also wondered if it would be possible to add a small amount of blue material around the bottom of the bouquet to match bridesmaids dresses and chair bows etc (just to confirm we choose the darker blue sash you sent us- think it was ocean blue)

Me and gareth like the picture of the archway i have attached, only difference being we would want blue material over the white rather than the red and maybe orange flowers in the middle.

I was also thinking for the two bridesmaids to have the same style bouquet but just with the white plumeria and orange lilies.

Yes these are gorgeous , though they are made out of silk and yours will be real flowers
the silk ones are alittle more darker then the real one .

more on wedding flower bouquets

Also i would like the womens Lei's to be white, not sure what flowers you could use for that (for 2 bridesmaids and our mums and Kay a wedding guest) i dont want to have a lei if thats ok?

here is a few examples of what leis for family ect

The Wedding of Erin and Brad Hawaiian

I Really like the texture the rock patterns add to the scene in the  set up. I also like the soft and delicate look of the color scheme and the flowers. I like the simple/classy look of "gold," especially in the first few pictures. I'm thinking the gold would also go really well with my fiancé (Bradley Eskew)'s uniform. I really like the Lavender Daisy set up too. I think it is because the arch at the front and the alter (in the first few pictures) looks so sweet and the flowers along the aisle are so delicate and pretty. I LOVE the arch in the Yellow Mellow http://www.alohaislandweddings.com/hawaii_beach_weddings.htm with the tulle and the flower and greenery trim. The table in that one is also very pretty. As I mentioned on the phone, the whole beach wedding concept is new and fascinating to me and I'm excited to hear suggestions and advice on color schemes and set ups that you think would best capture the highlights of the beach for our ceremony.

bouquet. I like the one on the far left [red/white] in the attached picture from your website. It doesn't necessarily have to be that color, I just like that design. I also like the Plumeria or Orchid bouquet examples. And the other bouquet picture from your website I'm attaching.
A flower shower (I think... this is the petals on the aisle, right?)

am interested in the video taping of the ceremony. Just the basic video though, not with the introductory view of Honolulu shot from the helicopter and such. This is optional for me though, the pictures are the most important, so if we could get a difference in price with/without basic video.

I'm not sure what the music options are? We saw a harpist and either flute, cello or violin mentioned on the website, which I think would be beautiful during the ceremony. Is there a sound system if we went with recorded music instead? If we can know the difference in price with/without live musicians.

The ceremony will be 2 p.m. May  in Hawaii. Especially in the face of the sudden change of plans, Bradley and Erin are very grateful for the blessing, love and support expressed by both their parents and a host of other family and friends who are coming together to make their wedding day special

Bradley and Erin are both excited to announce their plans to get married on a beautiful private beach in Hawaii, followed by dinner with family and friends on a cruise ship. Their celebration will continue Saturday at a military ball.
Invitations are scheduled to go out sometime toward the end of April. If you have moved in the last couple of years or have some other reason to doubt that we have your current mailing address, please look Erin up on Facebook and send it to her.
